Tessitura Sidoti is based at Limidi di Soliera, a small village a few kilometres north of Modena in northern Italy, and is a leading company in the production of knitted fabrics using circular knitting machines.
For 60 years, we have been working with high-quality fabrics, exclusively made in Italy, destined to create top-quality garments.
The raw materials used are carefully selected to meet the ever-increasing demand for quality in the international market, and range from cotton, viscose and polyamide fibres to wool and cashmere blends.

PRODUCTION

We specialize in the production of knitted fabrics using circular knitting machines. Our facility consists of 55 machines, both single and double jersey, mechanical and electronic, capable of producing knitted fabrics ranging from gauge 7 to gauge 40.
This allows us to create a wide range of knitted fabrics, tailored to meet the demands of a diverse and discerning clientele.
Our collection includes classic jersey fabrics with or without elastic, striped or plain, as well as more sophisticated knit patterns created with custom designs using jacquard technology.

In the year 2000, Tessitura Sidoti S.r.l. obtained the prestigious UNI EN ISO 9002:1994 certification.
To ensure that every product leaving our facility meets the high standards of excellence we have set, we subject every production batch to strict quality controls.
These include a full inspection on the fabric inspection table to detect any defects during production, as well as shrinkage tests during washing to ensure the stability and durability of our fabrics, even after repeated washing cycles.
Today, the Sidoti brand represents the best of Italian style, counting among its clients some of the most prestigious brands on the international scene.

OUR STORY

Founded by Sidoti Antonino in 1964 in the heart of the Carpi textile district, Tessitura Sidoti began as a crafts workshop exclusively dedicated to the production of knitted fabrics. With an initial staff of ten employees, the company quickly stood out for the quality of its products and its dedication to perfecting every detail of the textile manufacturing process.
Over the decades, Tessitura Sidoti has evolved, combining artisanal tradition with technological innovation, solidifying its position in the market as a synonym for excellence in the industry.
The company subsequently established itself in the market with high-quality products and became known for its wide versatility in meeting customer needs.
Since 1981, the company′s headquarters has been located in the industrial area of Limidi di Soliera, expanding by 1995 to cover a surface area of approximately 6,200 m�. The textile department was equipped with a state-of-the-art air conditioning system to facilitate the processing of the textile fibres used, along with a rail suction system to enhance cleanliness and ensure high levels of productivity.
Continuing our tradition, professionalism and customer service have become our guiding work philosophy.

CERTIFICATIONS

GOTS - The Global Organic Textile Standard is most important international standard for the sustainable production of garments and textile products, covering every aspect of production, labelling, trading and distribution.
GRS - The Global Recycled Standard recognizes the importance of recycling for the growth of a sustainable production and consumption model.
RAF - The Responsible Animal Fiber framework provides third-party certification that guarantees the sourcing of wool from responsibly managed farms.
